After the highlight made by Sarah Ahmed about the winemaker António Maçanita, see here, now I highlight his project together with his sister also winemaker, Joana Maçanita, in the Douro lands. Joana and António have long had a dream of creating a wine together where it would be possible to show the character and personality of both, a wine "à Maçanita" where the fruity character is the predominant note. The opportunity arose in 2011 in the lands of the Douro, where Joana does part of her professional activity.
